My client is using DJFinder and already has a music database established.... this is the link to the database.... http://djfinder.com/musicdatabase.asp?showlogo=false&djidnumber=11823

Can I import that database into the Music Collection Component.....The reason, I ask this is because I don't want to iFrame this page.....

THank you

There is a way to link to the external server, I can't just paste the URL into that field?

that's just to pòint songs to an external location, nothing more. it will not import your current database at all.

Do you have any suggestions on how to link to the two then or where I would begin to write custom code?

there's no option to "link" the two. the only way would be to build a custom IMPORT script that will import your current DB into ou music collection's DB. this kind of custom coding is something we can do with our Custom Coding Service.

I am currently look at this page..... http://www.joomlathat.com/music-collection/discogs-integration

and was wondering where that is....

I am trying to understand all the bits and pieces, before I go on and purchase the product. So I am trying to figure out an alternative to the DJ Finder.... If you can't answer the question prior to purchasing the product that is fine and completely understood, but I want to get all my ducks in a row prior to spending almost $50 on the product. If it is not usable and has no benefit, which I see it does, I'll just use an external link to his DJ Finder Website.

I hope that clears up the question.

    Very Respectfully.

If you would like me to purchase the product first in order to get support, I will, but if it is not what we are looking for, are you guaranteeing money back? Like I said, I just want to get all my ducks in the row before I meet with my client and promise them something, I can't deliver.

    hello!

thanks for the clarification. no, the Discogs API key is no longer required. now you can use it without API key.
