I really like muscol. I am however not a big fan of the album page layout. It seems somewhat congested and hard to view as well as does not follow the standard layout used by most commercial sites. I went crazy with the code and css. Please let me know what you think.
I also found it useful to break up some of the images. For example the song.png was being used for song, and for download, and album download. I changed the download and album download images to use their own unique images. It is still a work in progress, but I find it a lot easier to view.
Germi, if your interested I can provide you with the code changes and images.

0loving your work bro. I really like it! it more similar to the current artist page, I like that.
In my case, I do like our album page(I like the BIG image! and maybe if you remember the first version, a long time ago... the image was even bigger!) but yours is really, really nice.
if you want to share it with everybody, I'll be glad to make it available on our downloads area!

0Thank you. I am also a big fan of album artwork. Most of my art is 500x500. Though I don't like it taking up most of the real estate by default. I still want to be able to see all the details of the album cover. How I meet both criteria is when the user clicks on the album artwork it shows up the full size artwork on the same page in a shadow box. -

0I can once I get settled in. I am currently in the process of moving so my server is offline. Most of the changes I made were in the php code itself in the album view if I recall correctly. Though I think there might of been a few minor changes in some of the css as well. Soon as I get the server accessible again, I'll try to post the files I made the changes in. -

0This is my custom album page: http://www.paganroots.net/music/v/viter/dzherelo
I also love a big album artwork, too bad 500x500 does not fit the page :P
Song page is also custom: http://www.paganroots.net/music/v/viter/dzherelo/dzherelo
I'm currently working on a complete new layout for the new MC version, where every picture have the same size 300px wide and with a nice lightbox to show a bigger image. -

0@Ravenscar man, I have to admit I hadn't entered your site for some time now.
I just visited it, and... WOW!!!!!!
way to go man!!
very, very nice work you did on both pages.
I love how you customized the letterbar (it REALLY fits in your template!!!)
I love the "themes" icons (tags)
I love the "click to share" thing on the album image
great work on the song page too, focusing on the video and all
the thing is that, an overall look, you modified layouts and CSS to make MC fit really, really nice into your site's template.
AWESOME JOB.
love it!
don't you want to be on our Success Cases area ???

0hahaha, thanks Germiit was not possible without you, gracias
Working hard to make the site even better
The Click to Share thing is a script from Wibiya, it comes with the toolbar at the bottom. It's sometimes annoying when you want to save the image though, but it generates a lot of hits.
The new design is very different, even more integrated, hopefully online next month. But I still need your help with some parts... :P
I would be honoured to be listed as a Success, if you don't mind the pagan content? But please wait until the new site is online... -

0Ravenscar,
I really like the idea of the bottom bar and how well you got MC integrated into your site.
I have been playing around with an idea similar to the bottom bar for some time now. Unfortunately my programming skills are not up to par :S . It would be really awesome to be able to include the jw player module in the bottom bar. That way the player and playlist is always accessible at the bottom of the page. I really like the look of streampad, http://www.streampad.com/ , where one can have the bottom bar player and expand it to see the album artwork and playlist. To bad it's setup wouldn't be compatible with MC as it is designed to just read music files embedded on the webpage and doesn't accept playlists. Plus I am not a big fan of using code that has to access another domain to load.
I have been working on the concept to do something similar to streampad for MC. It seems like it could be doable using a mod like bottom bar ( http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/site-navigation/15780 ) and then just pointing the jw player mod to use that location. That should at least get the player usable in a bottom bar. Though to create custom controls, now playing text, or expandable playlist, it would probably take some ajax or javascript, which I am stuck on. -

0@exit2studio: maybe, it's just a javascript...
@greengeek: true, if I had the skills or the money I would develop a custom bar. Wibiya is free and very easy to install, just add a small script like Google Analytics. It's a bit slow though... I also like the idea of Streampad, especially if it could play random songs like a radio, that would be awesome.
Thanks for the Bottom Bar module, simple but effective. Maybe Germi could write a module for it to play songs or video...
