the template is totally independant with music collection. the music pages will show IN the template, just as any other joomla extension.

music is uploaded into the frontend with our Community versions (they can upload songs, albums and artists)

so, basically i cant use any other template with it?

that's exactly the opposite of what I said.
you can use it with ANY template, all templates will work with it.
I see you maybe not too familiar with Joomla.. in joomla, templates are totally separate to extensions (like ours) so you can use any template with any extension!!!

What are prequisites for music collection 2.3? What versions of php, apache, e.t.c are required to run music collection on localhost?

just PHP 5. do you have it?

Yes, I installed xampp 1.8 from apache friends

then you're good to go.
