Component problems

Hello,

Iam new to MC and i have some dificulties installing it on joomla 1.5.23.
The component i use is for joomla 1.5 so this is the correct version.
My problems are:

First the map structure its not correct im missing some.
Second on the frontpage there some rare signs.
Third i can not load any songs.
Fourth api-key.

    hello!

    it seems that the only problem is that your short_open_tags PHP variable is set to OFF and it must be set to ON. can you change this?

    this is one of the points of the installation instructions! :)

    thanks for the quick replay, short_open_tags On is the good one i read the instructions but not good enough thanks enyway B)
    And about the api key what to do about that.

    hello! the API key needs to be uprgaded, because Discogs changed their API. we are preparing and upgrade for this.

    meanwhile you can use this API: 186c0f2c8c

    Music Collection 2.2.1 has just been released, compatible with the new discogs API

    Files available on YOUR ORDERS

    for Joomla 1.5:
    install the file com_muscol_upgrade_220_to_221.zip using the Joomla installer.

    for Joomla 1.6 and 1.7:
    download the file com_muscol_upgrade_220_to_221_1.6_NOT_AUTOINSTALL.zip
    this is NOT an autoinstallable file. You have to unzip it first, and then copy the three files it contains into the right directories:
    /administrator/components/com_muscol/controllers/albums.php
    /administrator/components/com_muscol/views/albums/tmpl/default.php
    /administrator/components/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/form.php

    This new version does not require an API key from Discogs to work.
