Youtube video question

I created a new album under an artist, and tried to add a new youtube song on it. now it asks for duaration of the youtube video, I dont want to do that on each youtube video, and also it does not play it in the default player.

no it's not like this how it works. it won't ask you for any youtube video duration.

youtube video is a different field. you just place the link, that's all! and it will play on the SONG page.

ya it worked, but one problem, when you are on album page, which shows all the songs on the album, and if you click on the play button, the player on top does not play it (it plays if it is mp3 and not if it is youtube)

you mean a play button? or the VIDEO button? (the video button is for adding video to playilst, not to play it)

no by clicking the play button, i know the video button is to add it to playlist, that way it works, but if i just click on play it does not play, however if i click on the song it opens a new page and it plays it.

Hi
Please do so, and also, as a frontend user, they can not add youtube songs, how come? I want my users to be able to add youtube songs, from backend (admin) it works great, but I cant do it as a regular user from front end.
