I sorry for being dense or if I have missed the instructions, but what is the process for adding and uploading songs? Can I have people other than the admin upload songs via the frontend\backend?

0not, only admins can add songs.
you have to create an album. the enter into this album (on the backend) and click on tab "songs". then just click on the button "add new song".. as many times as you want.
once the songs are created, you can enter each song to add more details into it (there's a Edit button).
