The thumbs are created after a picture is selected for the album cover. Be sure to have these 2 subfolders ( thumbs_40 and thumbs_115 ) in the images directory located in the root of your Joomla installation.

Best to keep album cover images on your local PC. If you upload them first then add an album and select any of those pictures you've uploaded, you will end up with 3 copies of those images on your server. Which is redundant, unless you go back and delete them after you're done.

Thanks for your hints, but I still have problem. Maybe I'm just miss the point.
I attached picture to this message. There are image fields for album. I think that the right input which is saving image to albums folder is the last on Front sleeve. the problem is that images must be JPG (yours are GIF)

sorry for that, GIF will be allowed on next version

meanwhile, try to work only with JPGs
