    just found the problem
to make playlist work, the music files must be in root (in songs folder)
My files are in diferent server.
I would call song from remote server (/remoteserver/songs) but every album has own folder (/remoteserver/music/albumfolder/music.mp3)
If all music files will be in one folder, then it works.
I hope there will be solution soon

    hello

It works even if the files are in folders... (it should work). I've tested it many times and had no problem... are you sure the path to your files is correct?

you have to use correclty the ITEMID parameter.

on MC configuration, set the Itemid so it points to a menu item that renders the module (do you know what I'm talking about?)

Finally everything is OK :) , but

To show playlist module on Album page, you must select Menu Assignmen to All,(module manager-playlist module) none of the other options are working.
If you select "Select Menu Item(s) from the List" it isnot working. :(

If I'm wrong, Please correct me :)

again, it seems like you are not using the ITEMID parameter on MC configuration (preferences). This parameter is for exactly what you're asking.... also, this parameter is also available on the modules, and you shoul have the same value on them

    have you tried it?

    Hi Germi
I know it takes time to work on this great extension
I am OK how it works even with error, all I'm tryin to do feedback or findout is this my issue or MC issue.
So here is what is happening on demo site
    1. add song to play list
    2. popup palyer window
    3. restore player
    4. add another song, and getting error #2032

see athached image from demo site http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/images/fbfiles/images/error2032.JPG

    I see

bff so weird :S. I dont get this error!! I tried it all the ways possible: popuping the player, restoring the player... in any moment I add the song, it is added fine.

but this gives me another idea of what it can be: this must be something related to something we have different on our browsers (I'm thinkin on Javascript engine), that makes the URL of the playlist (wich is being loaded by the player) be encoded different on each others browsers...

To anyone who gets the issue "player error #2032":

Probably the player gets wrong path information.

First of all check the playlist file for right information.
Put some songs into the playlist. When your MusicCollection is available via
www.domain.com/musicol then the playlist is available via
    www.domain.com/musicol.feed?view=playlist&id=0&type=xspf

A XML Playlist should open. Are the paths ok? If not:

Check your songs-folder in the general settings, as well as in every menu item that leads to musiccollection.
In my case i installed everything. Later i changed the music directory and aligned it in the general settings but playlists sucked from now on.
After searching around for a while i found (via SQL!) that my menu item to MusicCollection has plenty of parameters to completely individualize its behaviour. The songs-folder won't be automatically updated when you change it in the general prefs and you might get stuck.

Best regards and have a lot of fun
    Rene

can you please provide us that info? :)

    thanks!

no problem, then just ask the site owner for its ID...

we can only provide support to the original purchaser (please, read the notice above on this forum page)

    Hi Everyone!!!

I'm having the same problem: Error 2032 in my site:

    - Song wont play.
    - Can add songs to playlist, but the module wont play.
    - Cannot download song - it leads to the "404 - Page Not Found" error.

I've tried to link everything possible to the ItemID, but it wouldn't help.

I think it possibly happened when I tried to figured the built-in SEF. But I've switched it back to no.

    You can check out here:

    http://www.nissi-united.com/index.php?option=com_muscol&view=artists&Itemid=60

Please help, I really need to have it running!!!

    Much appreciated!!

It looks like the songs it is trying to find do not exist or the path. For example I add a song and look inside the playlist it is trying to find:

    http://www.nissi-united.com/songs/wow">http://www.nissi-united.com/songs/wow hits 1 - Youre Not Shaken - Phil Stacey.mp3

Yet if I put that path in the web browser and try to directly access it, it says it is not found. Even http://www.nissi-united.com/songs/ comes up as not found, rather than either viewing the directory listing or coming back as forbidden. Where as the album artwork it is linking to is correct and accessible so it does show up the cover art.

My guess is that the song path is incorrectly defined in the back end and/or that the music may either be named differently or is not in the "songs" folder off the root of the website.

    Ok!! I got it!

Just solved the problem by changing the folder to /song/uploads where all the songs are uploaded. I have it set on MC, but forgot to change it in the Menu itseft, so one went on with /song and one with /song/uploads.
Now everything seems to work fine!!!
Thanks for the flash reply!! And lastly can you pass by my site and test it out again one more time? Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks in advance!

    @danielthai

Just picked a random page and tried playing the songs in both the page player and as a playlist. Both worked. Looks good.
