Hi Germie,
I'm a newbie with this so I hope you can help.
I've just installed all the modules and plugins and they installed fine and show up on the front page.
How do I actually make the albums and songs available for play? Do I have to copy my albums and songs to the album and songs folders first? How do users actually get at the songs? In the album layout menu I don't see a place to upload the albums or songs. It only uploads images? Am I missing something?

    on the album form (on the baceknd), ONCE the album has been created, there shows up a new tab, called "songs". tehre you can add songs. and then, you can edit each song to actually upload its correspondant mp3 :)

    Thanks..I see the songs tab but I don't see a field for uploading songs. Also, in the parameters do I have to set up the server for songs?

    no need to set up the songs server if streaming from the same server. just let it the way it is.

    when you have added songs, and SAVED, a new icon EDIT appears on the right side of each song. click on it to enter each song's form to edit its details (lyrics, genre, guitar tab..) and to upload an mp3 file

    be sure that you previously created the folder "/songs" on the root of your site

    thanks for your help...it's working quite well now and generally it's s great program.
    One question : where do I locate the album artwork of my CDs and albums that I download from iTunes?

    well you just need to create the folder "albums" inside your "images" folder on your joomla installation...
    and then upload the artword there using the album form, or if you want, upload it by ftp and then type the name of each image on the field for it on the album form
