I've found that after update joomla for latest version something went wrong with my template. I have install a new template and make installation of the modules. I have upload an album with 12 songs. In the menu "my Music Collection" I can see the album and a few songs. When press on it I receive an error page. Can't open the next page. What Could be wrong?

I can't access the backend with the account you sent me.

the problem is that the system plugin is either not installed, or not correctly placed. It must be on the last position of the plugin list.

also, you're not taken to the same page on click.
you're taken, for example, to the Album page.

what is happening is that you have created modules that show up on every page, so every page looks the same.. but if you scroll down you will see the actual album page.

I don't recommend creating modules on those positions (that will show everywhere)

seems like you have some kind of site cache enabled that is compiling JS files. maybe that's causing this problem. can you disable this?

this means, that is better to remove the positions?

yes, remove the modules from those positions.
instead, I recommend using un-used positions (you can make them up, for example "music1")

and load those positions into MC's main page, through the "introtext" fields (in MC global config), using the "loadposition" syntax

    like this:

    loadposition music1

(it has to be between curly braces)

I've made the changes, put curly braces but thing to be worst.
After made this change, I have the "search" icon moving without end

I see you use positions "muscol" and "muscol2" but I don't see any modules in your website, under those positions....

    hello

this is related to the System plugin for Music Collection... it has to be on the last position. please make sure of that, and then clear any cache you may have in your joomla installation

that is what I meant before, about the plugin in last position, this is what caused (in theory) the "wrong link" in albums. can you send me admin access so I can take a look?

    ok. I've re-install com_muscol_3.0.6_pro_3.x and plg_muscol_3.0.1_3.x.

The answer I receive from website when I install the first one is a popup Box saying OK. I don't know if this is correct. the plugin installation get a message in page saying the installation with success.

I've made the installation using the method drag and drop on the installation page.

the jwplayer doesn't work. the comments, still trying to load.

On the backoffice, the fields still empty.

Do you know if is better to use ftp and upload a new file to that address?

    hi,

ok, now the previous error I mentioned is gone. Still other errors tho, that are causing the problem with the player.

I managed to see where the problem may come from. is not related to Music Collection but it's affecting it.

you must set the PHP config variable:

    short_open_tag=On

    on your php.ini file

looks like it's currently OFF, and needs to be ON.

can you enable this, and then let me know?

    thanks.

that fixed a bunch of errors in the page. still, some to solve.

it appears there's a file called inject.preload.js (related to webpack) causing this
if you open Chrome's developer console, you will see what I mean.

do you know where this is coming from? maybe is a plugin you can disable?
the problem is that the JS error caused by this is affecting the rest of the page, including Jwplayer (that's why it doesn't appear, but the problem does not come from JWplayer itself)
