Hi JoomlaThat team,
I’m currently using the latest version of Invoice Manager on Joomla 5.3.1 and noticed a major issue:
❗ The Contact Manager screen has no visible import option.
There is no CSV import button or tool to bulk upload clients — a core feature that is absolutely essential to any serious invoicing workflow.
? Questions that need urgent clarity:
Has this feature been removed from the Joomla 5-compatible build?
If not removed, where is it located or how can it be re-enabled?
Why was there no documentation or warning that this key functionality is missing?
? This is part of a broader concern:
We also noticed that product import is missing as well — another feature that was present in earlier versions. If these two fundamental capabilities (client import + product import) were deliberately removed, this should have been clearly disclosed.
Right now, this version feels significantly stripped down compared to what Invoice Manager previously offered. For a commercial invoicing tool, manual entry of all clients and products is not acceptable — especially after upgrading or migrating from Joomla 3/4.
? Action Required:
Please confirm:
Whether these import features are being restored
Or if we’re expected to build/import directly into the database (which defeats the purpose of a UI-driven component)
If a patch or override is available to reactivate these features
We purchased this under the assumption that the advertised feature set was intact. Right now, it feels like we’re dealing with a lite or incomplete version, not a full production-ready release.
Looking forward to a fast response.
Best regards,
Stanley Rieck
