How to setup multilingual

0
Hi,
I would like to know , how to setup Musicol as multilingual with the Joomla 3.x built-in language features. In general I know how to setup, but I cannot find any language related configurations in Muscol itself.

Especially I would also like to know, which Item-ID (in general configurations) I will have to choose in the case of two languages. Is it the Item-Id of the standard menu (the hidden menu for Joomla language purpose) or the Item-id of the main language?

Thanks in advance
Stefan

exactly. no, that's not possible at the moment, but I'm already looking into it to implement it on future versions.
subdomains is a way to go meanwhile, definitely.

That`s it. I wanted to know, if e.g. the album, songs, artist etc. pages are (or could be) handled like articles in Jomla. There I have one article in German and another one in Portuguese, the article is the same, the content is individually edited in the mentioned languages.

I guess, that is not possible. But will it be in future version?

I think I could do some workaround for now with subdomains.

    Hi Stefan,

yes, I understand that. there' not the differentiation tag for the language in MC content at the moment.
you can use it only one per site, indeed. that's why I asked about your structure. you want to show exactly the same music, but in 2 languages?

I am quite aware, that I have to translate my content, that Joomla will not do that neither Musicol. Did I not point out my question in the right way?

I have two languages on my site (German and Portugues). As with other components and modules is it possible to assign Musicol to a menu e.g. Musik (German) and Musica (Portugues) and switch between them in the Joomla way with the language plugin and the Joomla languages (as well as the Musicol langueges) installed?
So far I was able to assign the second language in the module, but it does not pull the Portugues but English.

Will appear Musicol then in German and Portuguese or will I have to upload my music two times (once for every language)? Even that way, I have no clue, how to do that, because I cannot install the component twice.

Or does it mean, that I can use Musicol in different languages but only once per site?

    hello,

there's no multilingual option in that way (I mean, translated CONTENTS) directly. (I mean, there are languages, but this is related to the language tags and such, not the content itself, which would be for example the album reviews). how's your site configured?
