I see the problem. I think it's, again, an ITEMID problem. you have to set the Itemid for your Music Collection items... I think it's 130

Hey Germi! Not sure what you mean.

    This is what I have:

-2 instances of every Muscol module published (1 for English and 1 for Spanish) and the item ID set in the component is the Spanish one (136). English itemid=130.

I tried removing the itemids from the modules and they go away from the album pages but then I'm back with the component/muscol links.

I have no idea where else I can put the itemid (perhaphs I'm missing something) or if it's related to my menu items. I was looking over your support articles and found this http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/es/support/creating-menu-items-for-music-collection.html

That menu does not look at all like mine  LOL (which brings me to a different problem, but I'll publish that in another post).

you can put the DEFAULT itemid in the MAIN music collection configuration, not in the modules...!

    Hi Germinal:

Not really sure what you mean by DEFAULT itemid. What is the default itemid? I have two laguages so far English (130) and Spanish (136), what is the default itemid between those 2?

By itemid I understand the id of the home menu item in each language which in my case link to the component's main page. Is that correct?

In any case I removed the itemid from every Muscol module and the component. After doing this modules assigned to frontpage don't show up on other pages, and genre links still don't work.

Something I noticed: Muscol modules (let's say Featured artists) assigned to main menu item (home) show fine, but how do I make them show in album or artist page without selecting to show on all pages. I don't want them in, for example, the login or register page.

Adding any of the two itemids I have to the parameters of Muscol, by the way, does not make a difference in its behavior.

    So confused right now

yes, that's correct. that is the ID.
well, precisely the way to show them on that pages is using the ITEMID..

I can see you're confused. you should put the 130 (or 136) number in all your modules, plus in music collection configuration. if you can't make ti work please send me joomla admin access and I'll try to do it myself
