choose music from server

I have my site working on my NAS server Synology DS209+ and my music also stay there. Now I wil use this possibility to use Music Collection get this music from that part.
Can someone tel me how I can make that possible. I have try this but results.

    Yes I tried /volume1/music, no results. I don't no which adress to use.

    you forgot the attachment ;)

    try to use it WITHOUT writing anything: just hit the button
    then, you'll be able to select the folders, inside your root music folder!

    If I do that only the folowing maps i see:

    Folders found:
    administrator
    cache
    components
    images
    includes
    language
    libraries
    logs
    media
    modules
    plugins
    songs
    templates
    tmp
    xmlrpc

    Thats not my root, I think.

    that is incorrect.. your root needs to be that "songs" folder. have you checked your parameters?????

    it looks like you didn't even opened and saved them..!! please open the PARAMETERS and check the SONGS PATH. it should be /songs. then hit SAVE

    then scan again.

    I have the Parameter set to /songs
    If I go than to my Album unit it says /volume1/web/Peer57/songs/

    In my opinion is /volume my Server

    your songs must be under /songs. because otherwise no URL can be created... do you know what I mean?

    Do you mean that the folder music in the root of my NAS also the name of songs needed? In this folder I have 600 Gb with music albums.

    it does not need to be named SONGS (you can change this, precisely!)
    but it must be on the "root" of your joomla site!

    for instance if your song is named "helloworld"

    it should be placed like this:

    /volume1/web/Peer57/helloworld/

    Oke, you tel me that it is not possible to let Music Collection read from my server! That's a pity because it's a lot of music I have.

    NO, I'm not telling you that, I'm telling you that it can only read FROM the root folder of your site and beyond.

    if your folder is below that level, just MOVE it!!!!
