hello

no bug at all. is just a security thing. you can't delete a type if some album has this type assigned. just uncheck the type on all albums you assigned it to and the "checkbox" to delete the type will show up on the types list...

the same with formats, for instance...

Ahh this brings me to a related issue I found.

If I deselect a tag or type by shift (or whatever it is) clicking on the selected type then 'Apply', it re-selects it, so it appears I can't deselect it (or am I deselecting it wrongly?).

you should be able to deselect them with no problem. It works perfectly... !! nobody reported this issue before... its working perfectly on this very site, wich is running exactly the same version.

what browser do you use?

I'm using Firefox 3.0.10.

I just tried it again.

The type is highlighted blue. I Ctrl-Click on it. It clears. I 'Apply' and the blue highlight reappears.
