yes, probably you didn't give the album and artist image folder the right permissions. try to change the permission of the folders to 777 and re-upload the images

Where is the artist and image folder located ?

uops, if you're asking me that is because probably you didn't created these after the installation.

read this:

the image folders must be

images/albums
images/albums/thumbs_115

etcetera. read the article to know all the folder you have to create. once created (with writing permissions!)
re-upload the images on the backend...

I dont know what you mean... there IS a button to upload it, this one that says "Choose File" on your picture...

I have the same problem. It doesn't seem to upload any of the pictures neither in albums nor for artist.

can you have a look at the folders images/albums and images/albums/thumbs
are there some images you have uploaded?
if yes - try to change the parameter for "thumbnails" from dynamic to static

for me - this helps.

make sure the folder /images/albums have writing permissions

if you use "static" image generation, then the folders /thumbs_40 and /thumbs_115 also musct have writing permissions

Hi there - I am having the same issue with my artists. I can upload in the backend and see the image but when I look on the front end in the source code the path is simply:


Again, in the backend when I look at the artists page I can see the image and the thumb. On the front end (live website) I only see the thumbnail created for "Image for artist name".

I can confirm that in the images folder on the server we have:
images/album_extra
images/album_extra/album_name
images/album_extra/artist_name
images/albums
images/albums/thumbs_115
images/albums/thumbs_40
images/artists

I have changed the permissions on these folders to 777

Help...
