definitely. we'll have this in mind.
actually we were already thinking in a image gallery plugin, but we though about starting with Phoca Gallery...
do you think Joomgallery is better?

I have tried both but went with Joomgallery as the features matched what I needed and seemed popular ...This is a core part of my site so I will obviously favour..Have over 20,000 images and counting...

Hi, I cant seem to get this to actually choose from within the current category. It basically chooses the most viewed category globally no matter which category / image I view..

    Please see config attached..

    Example:

    Category A

    http://www.aerosolplanet.com/index.php?view=category&catid=321&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=135

    Category B

    http://www.aerosolplanet.com/index.php?view=category&catid=584&option=com_joomgallery&Itemid=428

Both of these categories have different parent categories

    read well the SELECTOR:

it applies to IMAGES, not CATEGORIES.

it says "CURRENT category ..... bla bla bla..... IMAGES"
so it applies to all CONTENT CRITERIA but "top viewed images"

do you know what I mean? this is a selector for IMAGES, not for CATEGORIES

do you understand what I'm saying..?

    OK Yes...so a question..

1 - How does the top category's work - What criteria can be applied if any ?

2 - Do I use the Top Images selector ? I have tried this but it kills my site.....

    500

DB function failed with error number 1054
    Unknown column 's.hidden' in 'where clause' SQL=SELECT s.*, COUNT(st.id) AS howmuch, s.imgtitle as item_name, CONCAT("index.php?option=com_joomgallery&view=detail&id=", s.id) as item_link FROM jos_content_statistics as st LEFT JOIN jos_joomgallery AS s ON s.id = st.reference_id WHERE st.type = 1 AND st.component = "com_joomgallery" AND s.catid IN (584) AND s.published = 1 AND s.approved = 1 AND s.hidden = 0 GROUP BY s.id ORDER BY howmuch DESC LIMIT 10

1 - top category mode has no filters. it's just that: the top categories. counting all of them

2 - :S :S maybe this is only availalbe in nwer versions of Joomgallery.. I hadnt considered it. let me upgrade the plugin

    give me a couple minutes
