    that would require some coding, it's not possible out of the box.

    i don't mind doing that. Is there a best way so that the code doesn't get overwritten on updates? Is there a view I can add simple Javascript validation to? Thanks for the response.

    well... it get overriden on updated. you will need to back up your modified files.

    the form you want to add JS validation is in:

    /components/com_affiliatetracker/views/account/tmpl/form.php
