Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
We're just starting to implement AffiliateTracker now, and while testing I realized that whichever affiliate link is being used, the registrations all come under the same affiliate.
I cleared-up a lot of the tests and deleted most of the test accounts, so now there are only two affiliates: GlobalSparks, and its sub-affiliate GoGlobal (see attached image).
Whichever affiliate link is used (3 different browsers and 3 different PC), all registrations end up under the same affiliate (GlobalSParks). Also tested GoGlobal without parent affiliate, and without custom name, with same result.
What to do?
Tks!

I'm having the same issue. The parent is not registering with the proper affiliate and sub-affiliate. We've tried the link from phones, multiple other computers, differetn locations, etc. The parent only defaults to user 0 never to the proper affiliate whos link we used.

It's taking too long to resolve. Having other priorities right now. We'll just use the default atid created by AT and will come back to this at another time.

So does it mean we just need to ignore that option (Referral word) from this point on?

Finally found the issue. We should have tested this before.
The "Referral word" option is still not working (for us anyway!) - we tried several different ones. But but if we leave that field empty, thus using the default atid, it works just fine.

We did several more tests, even using computers that never been to that domain. Also tried incognito.
Still same results. The only common denominator is the IP address: would that be the issue?

if you're testing, make sure you completely clear your browser cookies (or you can use an incognito window) and also you should clear the LOGS section, to make sure you're starting clean

otherwise, the moment a user is assigned to an affiliate or a browser is used, any conversions will be registered to that same affiliate (as it should be).
