Hi, I had the same issue when trying to use with Membership Pro - is that the case for you and also what version of PHP are you running?

I couldn't get any kind of support on this, it was just ignored. But one day I hope it is resolved

    Hi,
    I found a workaround:
I let the users register through Joomla user registration.
Then they can create an affiliate account.

I think the problem is only the Joomla user registration through the affiliate tracker.

Interesting, although my problem wasnt someone registering for an affiliate account, it was its incompatibility with Membership Pro.

When the AT extension was activated if someone tried to create a site membership it gave the error (same error as you) - its no doubt a symptom of the same issue you have worked around. maybe it will be fixed one day if the owner looks at the problem

Then Membership Pro is triggering the plugin from affiliate tracker.
Have you asked at the Joomdonation Support? Maybe they can help you to fix it or have a workaround?

Tuan at Joomdonation is amazing and Im sure he'll fix it if I ask (and pay him) but as its a Joomlathat issue I actually think they should be fixing it as its not Joomdonation thats claiming the compatibility between the 2 products.

Before I purchased AT I actually put an email into Joomdonation to ask if they were aware of any incompatibility issues and they said they had nothing to do with AT and have no opinion on its viability and pointed me at Joomlathat, which is fair.

I mistakenly thought the 2 companies had a bit of a tie in based on Joomlathat actually naming them as a compatible product....nope. According to the forum the Membership Pro problem has been kicking around for a year with no support, which I hadn't spotted. I got a refund via credit card company, but still hopeful Germinal will one day actually spend some time on it and solve so I can re-buy a stable version.
