Hello,

I just installed Affiliate Tracker for Membership Pro with Paypal and have a few questions:

1) Does Affiliate Tracker process the payment automatically with Paypal, or do I need to manually process in PayPal and record in the admin site to display on the affiliate front-end dashboard?

2) I'm planning to offer different commission rates for different Membership Pro plans. Again, do I manually pay these varying commission rates per Membership Pro plan or does Affiliate Tracker calculate the commissions?

3) We offer a free trial period for our Membership Pro plans. Is there a way to calculate the commission only if money is received?

4) Finally, I don't understand the option for a user to create multiple accounts. What are the reasons a user would have multiple affiliate links and accounts?

Thank you!

    hello,

    1. you need to "pay" accessing the paypal website. affiliate tracker will automatically know when the payment is paid, and mark it that way

    2. commissions are calculated automatically, but PAYMENTS need to be made manually by you. There are no different commissions for different plans, however. The commission is assigned to each affiliate account

    3. if price is 0 then there will be no commission

    4. because he may have more than one website to promote your website, and they want to know how much each link is generating.. or even in the same website, maybe you have 2 different banners, and you want to know how much does each one report.

    Hello,

    I have one more question:

    1) Membership Pro is set up as a monthly subscription payment. Will affiliate tracker track and calculate all monthly payments or only the first payment? I.e. all conversions or only the first conversion?

    Below are our payment plans:

    Regular
    https://bsmartguide.com/membership/subscribe.html

    Student
    https://bsmartguide.com/subscribe-student.html

--> It seems that since I have plans ranging from $0.99 to $95.88, that I cannot do a flat $ commission such as $5.
    --> If I do a % such as 40%, that creates too much of a range $0.39 to $38.35.

What I really want to do is:

    1) Offer $5 one-time for each person who signs up to a regular plan.
    https://bsmartguide.com/membership/subscribe.html

    2) Offer $5 one-time for every 5 people who sign up to a student plan.
    https://bsmartguide.com/subscribe-student.html

*Should I just leave the commission to $0 and calculate manually in the back-end and then update the admin site with payment? Do you have any suggestions for how to configure this for the affiliate to track in the front-end?

    1) it will track all payments, not just the first one.

given the scenario you desire, yes, you can do that manually.
otherwise, you would need some custom coding made on the plugin to allow automatic assignation of commissions, exactly the way you need.

however the option number 2 is not very clear to me... this means you have to "wait" for 5 people to sign up to actually assign the $5 commission?

    Thank you!

It sounds like affiliate tracker is designed to track all payment and to award the affiliate with a $ or % of all sales. I'll check with my users to see if they like this incentive.

With option #2 (Student plan), another way to structure this is $1 for student plan referrals and $5 for regular plan referrals.

If I were to manually track referrals, would I set the commission amount to be $0 / 0%?

Is there no way to offer a one-time commission if someone subscribes to a plan?

If you are to manually track referrals, you can set the commission to $1 for example, but make sure it's NOT approved automatically. This way you can change it to anything you want, and then approve it.

yes, in the plugin there's an option to allow (or not) getting commission for recurring payments, or just the first one.

    Thank you!

    To confirm:

    1) "Make sure it's NOT approved automatically."

--> To confirm, this setting is under the Plugin: OS Membership Pro - Affiliate Tracker" (attached)

    2) in the plugin there's an option to allow (or not) getting commission for recurring payments, or just the first one.

--> Where is this located? I can't find the setting.
