I had 2.4.6 installed on by website and everything was working fine and after installing 2.4.7 I had the link back to your website showing at the bottom of the component plus the player stop playing the song list half way through the playlist. I have the community version which allows me to turn off the copyright at the bottom but its a bit odd that everything is going wrong after I installed the update...

So is there a problem with your company downloading system or does Music Collection fully works with Joomla 3.4? I can't download the component with Google Chrome when it start I get a warning so my system stop the download... What makes this so crazy I am a week away from launching and if I didn't log on to check everything my members would be flood my email box or support system with tickets telling me they can't download or play the content they paid for.

Does 2.4.6 still work will Joomla 3.4 and are there any security holes that forces me to upgrade to the current version 2.4.7.

    Hello,

    1. you had the link back to our website because you purchase our "Community Standard" version. Please notice that until now, you had the "Community Professional" edition. The standard includes the link, the professional doesn't. I think you are confused about this. "Community" versions have nothing to do with the copyright link. That depends on "Standard" VS "Professional". Please check again. More info here: http://www.joomlathat.com/music-collection/different-packages
    if you whish to upgrade to Community Professional, let me know.

    2. MC fully works with Joomla 3.4, but you need the 2.4.7 version for that (precisely, the only difference between 2.4.6 and 2.4.7 is just a small adjustment to make it work good on Joomla 3.4

    3. There are no "security holes" in either version.. not sure why you ask that...

    4. the problem with "songs not playing" has to be something else we're missing. if you can share a link to your website I'll take a look and tell you what's wrong, and how to fix it.

    We found the problem and trying to find a fix for it... Also can you send me an invoice for the update to the pro version... I thought that the version I paid for was just for renewal, and the price I paid covered everything. After making my payment I was able to download the pro version without the link at the bottom and with the front-end uploads. Can you send me an invoice and I pay the extra $10 bucks....

    Now for the problem we are facing has to do with the characters Music Collection uses to call a file "[" "]" these Characters should be called at all and my Firewall System is blocking the call. So I don't want to put to much on a forum... I don't feel comfortable giving you info about my website. Too many Joomla developers system are getting hacked and the last thing I want is to have info about my system floating around the internet. I do hope you understand..

    Again when I purchased the component I click on the renewal button and paid the price that was posted at the time. I then downloaded after being redirected from Paypal.

    2. of course I understand you wanting to protect the site..! I didn't mean to post it here, publicly, I meant to send it to me at support@ joomlathat.com. but if you prefer not to, that's understandable of course.
    but then if you want me to help I need more info.. I'm not sure to understand when you say the problem comes from the [ ] characters. maybe you can make a screenshot illustrating it?

    When I try to download Music Collection Pro I am getting the following warning in Chrome:

    "com_muscol_2.4.7 zip in not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous "

    And I only get it in Chrome and not Firefox...Odd?

    you must have some "security" plugin I guess, or something. it's the same package you have always downloaded. nothing to worry about.

    I used Firefox... Thanks... One more thing so all I have to do is reinstall the pro version on the standard version I have on my site now, right?

    Just want to make sure...
