Hello. I installed music collection in my jomsocial website. I installed jomsocial plugin to.
I ask you:
1) why jomsocial plugin hasn't the option to enable it like core application in jomsocial?
2) the fields of "add album" and "add artist" forms haven't tooltip explications. I'd like that they have them.
3) i published some modules on the left position in menu collection home page link. When i click on the "search album" or "search song" button these modules disappear. Why?
4) i inserted the discogs key in the music collection parameters and not in every link menu settings. It is enough or i have to insert discogs key everywhere?
5) i don't know how user can import album and artists informations automatically from discogs website, can you help me?
6) i try to add album from discogs by backend like you explain in your features page but no result show me, why?
7) admin cannot set album details fields and add artist fields like required or not. How it works?
Please reply me.
Thanks.
Best regards

1 - it just has not that option. we'll make an update to include this.

2 - I see... but they dont have for now, I'm afraid. you would need some personalized custom work to add these...

3 - because you haven't setted up the DEFAULT ITEMID parameter on Music Collection global parameters. this has to be a number that points to your music collection menu item id. In other words: on the first page, where the modules appears OK, look the URL. you'll see &Itemid=34 (34 or whatever, of course). then THIS is the number you have to put on the global music collection parameters. do you understand?

4 - just on the global parameters is OK.

5 - ONLY admins can use this feature, NOT frontend users!

6 - hmm... I can't answer this question. maybe there's some problem with file permissions or something. If you know some PHP, I can tell you to try a couple things. if not, you can send me FTP access and I'll try to find out whats going on...

7 - no, there's no such feature. all fields are, actually, optional..

    best,
    Germi

yes, this is me doing some tests.
this error usually appears when your server does not accept GZIP petitions...

are you able to check if mod_defalte is ON on your server's (apache) installation?
