the SAVE button should appear on the LEFT TOP side of the ALBUM form.. doesn't it??? maybe the icon is missing, but the word "SAVE" should be there....!!

the artist name will be picken if it TOTALLY matches the name in the list.

example: if your folder is called

the beatles

and your artist is called

The Beatles

it won't match!!! (uppercase, lowercase... etc..!!)

Look, I tried your component in another bigger screen, because I wanted to be sure before replying again, that the Save buttn was missing.

And in fact, yes, I can´t find it, Save button does not show up.

The only Artist (in fact, we use it for Month Year) is Junio 2011 (e.g. June 2011) for which I upload some mp3 files "manually".

We produce more than 100 audio files per month, we are a non-proft association and we have no people and time to upload those files manually. We really need to upload those files with "Scan Folder". That was the main reason to choose your component.

just above the DETAILS part (above the album name field)

it says...

!!!!

just below "Files found"

it's right there!!!!

Hahaha.. you are right.

But you have to admit that the lack of an icon, make it dofficult to see...

Anyway I would like to know why Music Collection does not detect Artist Name and why it does not fill Album name automaticaly.

Music Collection does not detect Artist Name, because it try to find what we load as Album Name.

In your tutorial, you explain that this comonent detect Artist Name and fill Album Name field automatically.

What can be worng?

yes, names should be detected automatically.
this is not the normal behavior, of course...
