I have installed music collection on my joomla site, and uploaded some files, however when click play on the player, nothing happens and there are no errors.

0how did you upload the files?
this is what it is trying to play: http://opensourcetemple.com/audio/audio/youarenotsosmart/youarenotsosmart_001.mp3
as you can see there's a double "/Audio" folder on the path, which I'm guessing is wrong, because if I take one out, the file is there.
This means probably that in Music Collection configuration you added some unnecessary "/Audio" path somewhere... -

0I fixed the audio path configuration issue, however it seemed to have stopped working once I switched the site to https://
It can download the files, but the player isn't playing.

0the issue is different here.
if you go here: https://www.opensourcetemple.com/audio/theorganizedmind/theorganizedmind_01.mp3
it doesn't show the song, but a web page. this means probably you have some SEF configuration that is causing this issue.
did you configure something in the htaccess file?
