Hi Germi,

I have noticed that users without flash player installed are able to download songs instead of listening to the songs?

Can you please tell me how this can be solved?

Thanks for any help,,

    Hi Germi,

first of all happy new year! :)

    Second:
I have attached image from your own demo page when i am on the desktop computer using IE 8. This is what i get to see when there is no flash player installed. When you click on it you are able to download any song you want. It just pops up and asks you if you want to save it?

So any ideas how this can be fixed? http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/images/fbfiles/images/Untitled-20120101.jpg

happy new year to you too! :)

then this must be the normal behavior if no flash is installed... did not know that behavior. since the song paths are open, the download will always be possible...

the only thing I can think about is to hide the player with JavaScript if no flash is installed... but this is not something doable out of the box.. we would need to write a bit if custom code for that..!

Hi Germi how would it impact html5 player if you have the JavaScript code to hide the player when no flash is installed? I also noticed this 'loophole' ;)

well the idea would be to hide the player if no flash is available, that's all.. there's no default "fallback" to HTML5 player for now, when no Flash is avaialble.
