Language file problem

Hey im having problem with my language file problem..

you know how everything is refered to as song, songs i want them to be called something else so when i replace the words in the lang file and upload it its still the same..

i really need to change in jomsocial updates i want it to say something else not song how can i do this.

    you are changing EVERYTHING on the lang file? don't!!!
    even the key strings?

    if you see this:

    SONG="Song"

    then you must change the second part, not the first one!

    like so:

    SONG="Something"

    germi thats exactly what i did, re-uploaded the file and cleared my browser cache but still no chnages. I manage to do this on 1.5 but not working now.

    WHERE are the changes not showing? on JomSocial?

    in this case you need to place the translation labels on your MAIN language file, NOT com_muscol one's. do you know what I mean?

    i want the changes to appear everywhere on the front page, however it doesnt appear anywhere not even on the album page.

    what do you mean by the main lang file i dont get it could please explain germi...thanks sorry for the trouble.

    hello

    the music collection file langauge is called
    en-GB.com_muscol.ini
    the GLOBAL file language is
    en-GB.ini

    (well, replacing the code language for yours, of course)

    ALSO, very important, be sure to save the files as UTF-8 NO-BOM !!!!
