JW player not working on IE8

Hi,

I recently bought the pro version and just noticed that the player is not loading in IE8. It just displays loading player in IE8 but works perfectly in Google Chrome.

I have installed and enabled the following

Component-Music Collection Community (Pro)
com_muscol_2.3.0_community_pro_1.6.zip

Plugin-JW Player
plg_jwplayer_2.2.2_1.6.zip

and have published the

Detailed Layout (MUSIC COLLECTION HOMPEAGE - MANDATORY!)

as a menu item

Please advise if need to enable any additional modules to get it working on IE8

did you install the CORE plugin (system plugin - music collection)

Yes and the player is working in Google Chrome

maybe IE8 is having some JavaScript error that stops the player from begin loaded. is there any chance you can see if the JavaScript console is throwing any errors?

no.. this is not the JS console, this is just the page code. IE has a javasript console that can show you JS errors...

can you point me to your site?
