I do not know what im doing wrong, i cannot get the following to show up in the user menu or anywhere.

# Create a new album
# Create a new artist

I installed the jomsocial "my album" plugin (aka)plg_myalbums_jomsocial.zip
already, enabled it, i used various different id's to associate it with including my main menu id and the actual hello_me Jomsocial plugin i cannot get it to show up..

please help.

Hold on im getting close to answering my own question.. Looks like the myalbums plugin didn't have an option to select for whether you wanted it as a Core Application or not.
So it's defaulted into the user's application to activate instead of giving admin option to have it forced.
So now i have that figured out lemme find out which menu id it associates with.

Update:
Still no luck.. i feel like this is like a horse with the carrot stick in front of him, the feature is there but i cannot get to it for some reason.. :(

Update: I figured it out now, frustrated and mad i stumbled across my problem - being lazy....
Simply create a menu item for it.. duh.. i was probably overlookig it because Jomsocial plugins and mods usually automatically show up when you activate them, with this one, i see you have to put a little effort into it if you want it to show..
But it's still an awesome upgrade and will keep this post up for others to look at..

yes.. you need to create menu items... and the jomsocial plugin is an APP, so you must browse it on the apps and "install" it on your jomsocial profile... :)

    maybe this can be improved

Um...seems I need a little push here as well. I've done the above including:

    - installing & enabling myalbums plugin
    - created menu links for new album and new artist
    - associated these links in the myalbum plugin
    - installed plugin in the jomsocial apps

Can't get it to show up...what obvious step am i missing?

    the plugin is an APP

this means that you must go to applications->browser and "INSTALL" it (or "add" it, if you will) on your profile page (that's how non-native jomsocial apps work)
