Assuming that you have songs and albums already loaded. (I'm new to this also) I was getting that error when I didn't have data loaded. Make sure you have artists and albums associated with the artists as well as songs to add to your playlist.

this may indicate that the XML file that serves the playlist is not correctly created. sometimes this happens if some filenames contain strange characters...

if you post a link to that particular page I'll try to see what's happening

@wiido well that's a bit weird. the problem is that the playlist page actually displays nothing.

as you see, it's totally blank. I guess there's some error throwing out, but we can't see it...

1) can you enable error reporting and see if this page says any error?
2) if not, I'll need FTP access to check the code...
