Now the music website is legal ?

if i built a website by music collection , people can listen and download the music, is that legal ???

i use the hosting by godaddy!

    it is legal if you have the rigths to do it, I guess!!!

    of course is NOT legal to let people do it if you dont have the rights to do it

    yes, germi is right. you have to contact the labels or the artist itself. But i can tell you, in the most cases it is not possible(legal) to add songs to your site. The most artists or labels dont like songs or samples of their songs on any sites.

    But i think it is the wrong forum to ask this :) this is a component to show artists and album on your site and you must know if this is legal or not :)
