No Covert-Art

0
Hello,

First of all, I have to say that I am a newbee. Yesterday, I installed the MC package and today I am trying to get the cover-art visible. I've uploaded an image, but when displaying there's no cover. What do I do wrong?

Eric

Yes, including the thumbs_40, thumbs_115 folders. No file there. So why is it not uploaded?

try to enter the images/albums folder...

you get a 403 Forbidden error. that's why the images are not loading.

the permissions of the folder are not correctly setted... maybe try also to change the owner/group of the folder...

Which permissions should they have? They're al 755, including the owner.

If you want I can give you a user/password for the admin panel ...

I entered there and there are no images... maybe it's a problem of the owner/group of the folder? maybe you have to CHOWN the albums images folders...

:S there's some issue with the permissions or the owner or group, that's for sure... because the folder is still showing the 403 Forbidden message..

if youre not able to upload songs maybe the problem is the same (permisions of the folder). you should do the same you did with the albums folder.

if the player is not showing up is probably because you have set the parameter "show online player" to only registerd people. you should set it to everybody (on MC parameters)

The permission of the songs-folder is 777. The ownership is set correctly.

When editing a track, I browse to the mp3 file and press apply. Nothings happens and I return to the main (backend) page of joomla!

    I do not understand it.

    hello
I had no problem at all uploading a song. you will see the first song on your album now has a file associated.

I was thinking.. maybe the problem was that you were trying to upload a file too big (you have the upload max filezise PHP parameter set to 8M)

    Hello,

It seems to work now. How can I configure the most viewed albums as a tag cloud? Do you also assist with configuring joomla!

I know, no need to worry for the XML parsing error. thats a JOOMLA small bug they are trying to solve.

but the module installs OK anyway, so no problem at all. is just a stupid warning that shows up sometimes... :)
