hi germi,

i installed the jw player plugin and activated it but i dont see my songs (2 songs) that i added to an album

you can see this here: http://www.sound-ecke.de/alben-artist/m/manu-ranking/wassermann

i added the time but there is still 0:00

what did i wrong? am i so stupid? :ohmy:

Another question is - i uploaded my songs with a ftp tool - is it possible to select them or is it a necessary to upload the songs with MC step by step?

    mmm ... they should appear.. did you modify the template file somehow? if not, give me access to your admin if you want..

    you cannot "select" the songs, but it is enough to write the path to them in the field for it on the song form (no need to upload using MC uploader if you already used an FTP client)

    yes i modified some files so i dont know exactly if i "destroyed" something.i hide the song search but i think this is not a problem.

    yes i can give you admin access - where can i send you the login ?

    no need to give me access... it seems like you destroyed something.

    try to restore the file

    /components/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/default.php

    yes you are right - i comment this lines out:

    $song = $this->songs[$i];
    $song_link = JRoute::_( 'index.php?option=com_muscol&view=song&id='. $song->id . $itemid);

    and now it works. yeah i'm a little bit stupid i think :)
    thanks germi!!

    thats not your fault - this is a little bug we are trying to solve. I think its related to the SEF. can you try to disable the SEF for a moment and see if it works?

    yes this is correct - if i set the muscol plugin in joomsef to skip then the play button works.
    i think i will set the muscol plugin to skip so the play button works and if i add some new albums i set it to "on" and let joomsef create the SEF urls and after this i set the plugin again to "skip"

    i think this is a good workaround but i hope you will find a solution :)

    hey!

    here's an update of the plugin for JomSEF that is set to work with Music Collection 1.5

    http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/downloads/doc_details/38-music-collection-15-artio-joomsef-extension.html?lang=en

    please download it and try it, and see if now it works (it should! if it don't, probably I forgot something in the plugin ;) )

    hi germi,

    i copied the 2 files in the /html/sound-ecke/components/com_sef/sef_ext folder and set the plugin to skip and then back to "use default handler" i dont work or is it necessary to delete the complete cache? i'm afraid of loosing all my sef urls and meta tags if i clean the cache

    mmmm I dont think its necessary to delete the cache..

    in any case, I think cleaning the cache does not delete the created URLs (among other things, because if you added some metatags the URL wuold have been saved as "custom")

    but, of course, the problem here is that there are some URL you NEED to delete in order that the new plugin replaces them.

    in fact, these are the url containing "format=feed&type=xspf". try to search for this on Artio and delete this urls

    I'm pretty sure of what I'm saying, but just in case:

    USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! ;)

    I'm not responsible if you loose some artio data! :)

    one thing - if i look in joomsef URL Manager there is no entry for the artist site only for the songs. with the old version of your plugin there was an entry for the artist site

    Hi Germi - thumbs up :)

    today i deleted all sef urls for the artist and clean the cache. After this i takes a few minutes and then the sef url for the album appears in the url manager and NOW the plugin WORKS :)

    so great work, offical tested for MC 1.5 ;)
