My personal whishlist:
The possibilty to add a license like GNU or CCL ore else to each song / album (download)
The possibility for bands to create an own band account with music upload ,image galery,lyrics and event list.( In a first step the band / artist have to select a licens like GNU or CCL under which they offer there free music)
A widget for each song / album to share free music with other sites like blogs or music portals.

0I will study this features. I really like the idea the "band" idea: people registering as a "artist" in MC and adding their songs and albums from the frontend, and charing them with everybody.
however, this is really much (much!) more work than it maybe can look at first sight.
anyway,I'll think about it... maybe in a future "2.0" version!

0well, this is also something that has to be thinked a while.
at the moment, I was thinkin on some kind of share plugin (like those you find in many blogs, youtube, etc) with little icons such as "share in facebook", "share in twitter" etc, but I don't think that's exactly what you're suggesting. Your idea of "sharing" would be someting like that? -
