hello!

the best way would just be to make some kind of IMPORT from your current database to Music Collection. basically, the info taken fromthe import should be song name, artist, and of course the path to the file.

this import script would need to be created as a custom job, of course.

besides of that, in music collection there are ALBUMS. these could be skipped by modifiying some source code (custom work, too)

I'm not too concerned about importing the songs. I am just looking for a solution on how to display a list of songs without having to create an album for each one.

I guess I can hire a developer to figure this issue out, I wish the component had a built in solution for uploading and playing singles.

yes, it wont be too difficult to add the songs directly, without the need of an album in between. you would need some custom coding, tho.

well, usually, to ask for a customization, you purchase the component first (to play around a little bit with it, so you can make a clearer idea of how it works), and then you contact us through the custom service to ask for the customization, then we make a quote, and we move on.

in this case, it looks like you have a pretty clear idea of what you want (just begin able to add non-album songs), so you can directly ask us for this in the custom service. it's not a big job, really, but anyway we don't give quotes on the forum!
