Extension can still be used after 1 year expired?

Hello,
Please clarify if your extension still works after the 1 year subscription expires. I understand there is no support after 1 year, but would it still work if we stay on the same Joomla version but install Joomla updates?
I don't find this information in the Terms of Use.

    hello,

    Yes, it still works after 1 year. doesn't matter if you install updates whatsoever.
    only think that ends after 1 year is the technical support and access to updates.

    the software will work forever.
