Hi Germinal,

It seems that Music collection has some challenges with my website. How and what do I need to to to get Music collection up and running with all features that music collection has to offer. Do we need to have a custom estimation. Or what are your thoughts about this.

I really want to use music collection in its full without having features switched off.

Best Regards,
Dirk Meij

    Hello Dirk,

The only thing that caused issues was the "tooltip" thing (well, besides the Youtube HTTPS, that was fixed), which is somehow conflicting with the template you're using...
I've looked at the button "disappearing" when clicking (on playlists layout). it's caused by the same as the tooltips.
There's some JS on your template that is messing with Joomla classes and causes this strange behavior...

is there a way you can contact the template creators and ask them about this?

when you say "all the features".. what you mean? is there anything else not working?

    Hi Germinal,

I fixed the Javascript issue myself. And you are right it had nothing to do with your awesome component so I need to make an apologize here. IT was not the template either. It was a 3rd party plugin that we used for distributing podcasts. We deleted it and it works like a charm now. Exept the youtube images not loaded over https (the youtube player works fine)

See this page and the SSL error you get. Any idea which file we need to adjust to force it over https.

I really want to thank you for all you massive help. This is rare!!

    Good morning Germinal,

We got it all up and running. Only in safari and Firefox the JWplayer module does not show the playlist and I am not able to get the config right to show it correctly. Do you have the right config for me to show it correctly on all browsers?

Open this link in safari or Firefox to see what I mean:

    Hello Dirk,

    no need for apologies!

I tried both Firefox and Safari and it shows up correctly for me in both cases... can you maybe make a screenshot of what you see?

    Hi Germinal,

Got it working! Regarding JWplayer 7. Its not compatible with the playlist so it seems. Or do you have a fix for this.

our current player supports jwplayer 6 only.. to replace it for version 7 requires a bit of coding (it's not just about replacing the jwplayer file..)

Ah super, We will consider this. On some pages the player is a bit off:

If you look at the play button and the volume icon you will notice its a bit under the player. Have you seen this before?
