we are actually trying a new option (that comes with joomla 3.0) that could help us making the progress bar (a much wanted request) . we don't have any working solution yet but we're working on it.

At what point is the development? There are reports on the progress bar for uploads?

we have a pretty advanced development on this, actually. we will hold the release until the new site is out (we're very close to release it). we will release the new version of MC on the new site (this whole site will be migrated)

if you want to be a beta tester for the new version, that will be great just to test it a bit before it's publicly released. it will still take a few weeks, tho.

But you're only focusing on Joomla 3.0 or a newer version is compatible with joomla 2.5?

the uploader is based on Bootstrap (native in Joomla 3.0) but we will include it on 2.5 so it works the same way.
