I am trying to get the Statistics module to work. I can get the top viewed options working in it, but i can not get the Top played Songs to show any data. I have it enabled and the title of the module shows up. No songs however are listed under it.

I currently have it set to:

Top played Songs
Time (relative to NOW)
Last months
Filter by viewing user No

I am trying to get it to show the top 10 songs played for the last 30 days. Any ideas? Also something that I find strange. The Layout option. If I use Default option my page will display. If I switch it to Table or Graphic, my page won't load correctly, all the images and css get strips out and only a text version of the right column where the module resides shows up.

Please Advise.

if you want to show 30 days, choose last X days and put 30 (NOT last 1 month)

also... have you upgraded to jwplayer plugin 2.1? :) wihtout it, top played won't work... :)

Yes, I updated the jwplayer plugin right after I upgraded the component a few days after you released it. I am not seeing an option to type in a specific days. Only option I see currently is to use the preset radio button options. Maybe I am using an older version? Here is a screen shot of what I see within the module's options:

    this is the correct version...

I'm thinking that it maybe some MooTools problem...
is it possbile that you are using MooTools 1.2 on your site? (joomla comes with 1.11, but many people upgrades it via plugin to 1.2... and jwplayer will only work (to register the top played) with 1.11...)

According to the media\\system\\js\\mootools.js file, it looks like it is using version 1.12. I believe this is the one that came with my install as I have not updated it. I have not enabled the 1.2 upgrade. Though from researching this, it appears that the new joomla 1.6 will be using 1.2 by default. So it may be to our best interest to have it work with that version. Even in the joomla 1.5.20 they add support for mootools 1.2 as the primary js library by including a mtupgrade plugin.

I'm guessing from the file I linked above that I am using 1.12 and not the upgrade, unless something else is loading it outside of my knowledge. Anything else I can look at to see why it is not working?

    the problem must be mootools

yes, 1.6 will be using 1.2 (and 1.3, actually), so when it comes out, Music Collection will adapt to this

the problem is that 1.11 and 1.2 are not compatible. that means that (some) code writted for 1.11 does NOT work on 1.2, and viceversa... so there's no way to make a "universal" version

in any case, I'm still thinking this problem is mootools. if you send me a link, I can make some checks on it.

ok, problem found. it was a small incompatibility between jwplayer MODULE and jwplayer PLUGIN.

to solve, both plugin and module need to be upgraded to its latest vesions, which you'll find here:

    the module (v 2.1.0):

    the plugin (v 2.1.1):
