Hello Germi,

After searching for songs, the player appears as a black bar at the top of the list of songs. If I click on the green triangle next to a song, it plays OK. However, the play just looks weird. It sometimes has part of the album image in it.

Here is our installation information:

Windows 7
IIS – Internet Information Server
Joomla 2.5
Muscol, component, version 2.2.2
Muscol – JW Player, plugin, version 2.2.2
JW Player MODULE for Music Collection, version 2.2.2
site URL: asc.fairfieldpros.com

The HTML5 player works in Chrome just fine. It works partially in IE. the non-HTML5 player (Flash? player) has the problems discussed above.

I have screenshots if you need more info. Our goal is to have this work on Chrome, Firefox, and IE under Windows XP and Windows 7, as well as Safari.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

John

Your control bar is showing as 'over', so it is not fully being displayed. Try setting the control bar to 'bottom'.

If you want to use the controls set as over, then you will probably want the window of the player height set to much higher.

You also may want to change the colors of your player. You have dark on dark which makes the controls really hard to view.

    Hello Germi,

    Much better. Thank you.

It is unfortunate that we need to bother you with such minor problems. Can you recommend documentation for JW Player. I still do not understand the effect of all the "Basic Options" for the plugin "Muscol - JW Player."

I'll continue quality assurance testing and will let you know of any other issues.

    Sincerely,

    John
