I would like to list my albums 10 at a time with pagination at the bottom. The list to be with the most popular or latest at the top. How can I do it ? If I use default album layout, all albums are listed with no pagination.
Do I need another module or plugin ?

0hmmm.....
there's no "all albums" view in Music Collection. that would have to be created custom (specially if you want the pagination, that's the key element here)
also, if you want to display most popular first, you'd need a module (available) but that would only list a fix number of album
if I understand, you want an "all albums" view, ORDERING the albums by popularity, rating, and then alphabetically (for example), in this order... right?
this needs custom work my friend -

0lets see: you DO have a module, FEATURED ALBUMS, to display what it says, featured albums. but if what you want is a "view", with a paginatin, modules wont work. I mean, you want to display the albums on the main content are, as part of the COMPONENT. modules are made to be diplayed at the sides as an extra content to the main one, but not usually to "navigate" inside them. do you know what I mean?
so, if you want a pagination.. yes, you need custom because you need a new VIEW for the COMPONENT
are you familiar with Joomla terms? (component, modules, view, layout...)
if there was an actually reliable method of doing this with modules, I'll tell you how, but it's just that there's not...

0Thanks, if I use the default album layout all works fine, however I have approx 100 selected songs from different albums and the user should be able to select the album to play the songs. The only problem is that if I have 30 albums, all 30 are listed, but I would like to display only 10 at a time then go to the next page. - Yes basically pagination.
Can you modify a module for this ?? Let me know what it can cost for customizing the module.
