I am trying to get the album image to show up on my first attempt to create an album entry.
I can't get images to show up. All the folders are there; I have also attempted to manually upload images to respective folders successfully. They just don't show up in the web page.... thanks for any help.
I am using 2.5 joomla, and installed com_muscol_2.3.0_pro_1.6.zip.
I am also using the N6 joomlashack template. I have a top menu link to show the issue: "music collection" at http://www.minochristante.com...

0Germi, yes I can post files no problem. Also from the admin backend I can apparently upload an .jpg. It just doesn't show up either in the admin component or on the frontend....

0I deleted the following folders:
album_extra
- album_name
- artist_name
albums
- thumbs_40
- thumbs_115
artists
formats
tags
I then deleted the cache. Then I deleted the couple of test entries. At that point I created new folders. Each folder has permissions of 755. I then created a new entry and attempted to upload a 500x500 jpg. I got no error. A white square appeared for the test entry on the webpage but no image. I then swapped out various templates with the same issue. I then checked the folders and there was no image. Yet, when I upload an image, I am able to do so to the respective folder.
Please let me know the next troubleshooting steps to take.
Tnanks!

0After I recompiled apache with suPHP, turned off ftp inside Joomla 2.5 itself, and let the cache settle, it appears to work just fine as far as the images are concerned. And the player plugin works. Thanks for your stellar and timely help! I love this app. It is going to be exciting to play with with on the site - especially getting the html5 player working for iphone/ipad, and getting the stand alone player to work. Thanks.
