Hi guys!

Wondering if I could get some advice on this issue.

I installed the player on my site: http://www.4nrecords.com/temporary/index.php

On this page, if you put your browser window to below 700px or so, you'll see the albums appear in the main area

(We're using the collection as a fallback player for Mobile & Tablet devices)

The problem is I can't get the Carousel to work.

Here is a screenshot of the Module Manager as well as screenshots of the "Featured & Random Albums" settings - hopefully this provides useful info on what I may be doing wrong:

I disabled the other modules on the site to see if it was a java conflict...no difference was made.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Sid

    hello!

you've set to "not load JQuery", and there's no other extension on that page loading it.. so it's not there, therefore it doesn't work! :)

    Hi Germi

    Thanks for your response!

We've tried both with Load JQuery set to Yes and No. The screenshot was taken with the 'no'... but even with Yes, still no carousel.

I've set it to Yes, and the screenshot of the current settings is here:

What do you think could be the problem?

Any other info I should provide (would admin panel access...?)

    Thanks

    Hello,

    I have the same problem.
I'm using joomla 2.5 and have downloaded and installed

    mod_muscol_featured_albums_2.3.0_1.6.zip

from 'your order' section but it is showing nothing when I set it for Carousel.

How can I resolve it :(

    Thanks

Please be informed I'm getting below errors in Chrome and FireFox consoles:

Chrome: Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'jcarousel' albums:138

FireBug: TypeError: jQuery(...).jcarousel is not a function
    [Break On This Error]
    ...VisibleOutCallback: {onAfterAnimation: mycarousel_itemVisibleOutCallback_1571049...
    albums (line 147)

Can these errors be helpful to find the root of the problem?

You can try jQuery Easy. Read the reviews you will understand how great this component is. I,m going to use it because i have the same problem.

    Features:

jQuery and jQuery UI libraries can be hosted in Joomla! or called from the Google API libraries in HTTP or HTTPS (set explicit versions for proper caching),
no coding is necessary in front or back end (no need to add code into template or mess with Joomla! core),
places jQuery calls AFTER MooTools calls for perfect compatibility,
    adds the noConflict code,
sets up the 'jQuery' variable to 'true' at the application level,
strips out all other jQuery, jQuery UI library calls, including the noConflict calls added by other modules or plugins,
choose jQuery UI basic styling or custom theme.
    NEW: possible expert tweaks
NEW: the plugin can be enabled or disabled in specific portions of your site
NEW since v1.2.0: MooTools libraries can be tentatively disabled in the front end
NEW since v1.3.0: reporting and more options to help in solving more advanced cases
NEW: Joomla! 3.0 specific version release

Yes I just installed it and then configured it to load jQuery on my Joomla. Then went to my weather module back-end which was using jQuery and disabled loading jQuary there.

Also more complicated issues can be resolved with this plugin as I studied in its help documents.
