Downloads All Songs in Album at Once

Perhaps this is silly of me, but even with high speed internet, when viewing an album it automatically downloads ALL songs in the album, which slows the users internet connection drastically.

Is this inevitable?

I guess if it DID not do this, playing songs would be much slower to do, but is it possible to NOT pre-download the songs?

    it looks like you are still running Music Collection 1.0.2...

    in the new version 1.5 there's a new player that does not load the songs automatically so you avoid this problem you are having

    Yes im on 1.0.2 and it satisfies all my needs. Do i really need to upgrade simply for this one feature? Is there a workaround I can use temporarily until i can afford to upgrade?

    mmm.... unfortunately, to fix this issue, you need the new player, wich is only available for 1.5 and not for 1.0.2.

    I understand it is better not to upgrade if you re just happy with the 1.0.2 version... can you try to install the upgrade on a testing environement (localhost) and see if it works fine for you, and if it does, you install the upgrade on your live site.

    version 1.5 does pretty much the same as 1.0.2, and you can configure it to work just like 1.0.2, the only difference in this case would be the player..
