Download this Song?

0
when clicking on the notes icon (with the tooltip "download this song") in a song list, IE8 opens the song in Media Player instead of opening a download dialogue. Saving is only possible by right-clicking on the link and choosing "save Link As..."

the link path is:

http://mydomain.tv///songs/01_teaser.mp3

Firefox produces a 404 error, the path shown for the file is like this:

http://mydomain.tv/\\\\songs/01_teaser.mp3

something going wrong here...

EDIT: Sorry, this was inadvertently posted in Music Collection Extensions. Please move it to "General". It somehow relates to the "Shopping Cart" question ...what to do with these links?

please use the link i sent you via email, go to "Music Libraries" and click "Search Songs". Here you'll see what I mean.

In Firefox, the link is broken because of the wrong path delimiters. In IE, there are too many slashes, anyway...

problem solved. thanks, germi, for your troubleshooting and email advice!

for those who want to know: there was an error in my component configuration. i had specified \\songs instead of using /songs as my music directory.
