Menu - problems!

0
Hello!

I have just bought this extension and I am trying to make it work.
I want to make a menu to show me all albums or something, but the
problem is, there does not appear a sub-menu after I choose the
menu-type. That means I can't set an artist or an album.
Did I forget to install something?

Best regards!

hmm.. no, all is installed with the main component.

are you sure it doesn't show? you can't see "muscol" item types?
(the main menu item should be "artists detailed")

can you make a screenshot of what you see?

    Thanks for reply!

Yes, I can see the muscol item types, these are listed:

Standard Album Layout Default Artist Layout Detailed Artist Layout Grid Artist Layout Detailed Layout (MUSIC COLLECTION HOMPEAGE - MANDATORY!) Default Song Layout Default Artist Songs Layout

    .. but I can't apply any settings. I attached a sreenshot.

but.. you don't need to set up any settings in here!
you can set all the config on the MAIN parameters (on Music Collection backend)

do you know what I mean?

I know what you mean, but that's not enough. In the backend I can just change general settings. I am not able to choose an album and display it in the frontend.

ok I think I found the problem.
please find a file attached. please UNZIP it, and you will find a folder called ELEMENTS

you must place this folder in /components/com_muscol/

    replacing the existing one.

I believe this should solve your issue

    let me know!

    ok, I upgraded the files.

I will have to ask you to DOWNLOAD the package again.
UNINSTALL music collectino , and then install again the new package.

(you won't lose any data, don't worry)

please let me know if now the problem is solved
