i have the same Problem. I use Joomla 2.5 with muscol 2.2.1 and i would like to import from joomla 1.5 with muscol 2.2.0. If this is possible and what I must follow?

You can import without problems... Muscol 2.2 is the same tables in 2.2.1

1) Go the to Cpanel and PHPMYadmin
2) Go to the database where you have installed joomla 1.5 and select all your tables with _muscol and clic to export in the Top, select Personalized and the Format of compresion gzip. Continue and download to your computer
3) Go to the database with Joomla 2.5 (Important: you have installed before, with the prefix jos_ , because your tables in Joomla 1.5 have the prefix jos_ and your joomla 2.5 also need to have the same prefix)
4) Erase all tables with jos_muscol_
5) Clic to import, and select you muscol backup from joomla 1.5
6) Wait a few minutes and.. you will be get the Message: All tables import successful.
7) Refresh you joomla 2.5 and Go to Music Collection.. and buala... you have all your content there...
8) Well you images also you need to move to the new one directory in joomla 2.5
