Greetings,

I just purchased Music Collection and i see lots of files to download and have no idea what i need to get this running?!!

    hello! take a look at this: http://www.joomlamusicsolutions.com/en/support/installation.html

    basically you need to install the Component and the Core plugin, also the JWplayer plugin. that's the 3 mandatory things.

    Hi,

    thanks for the link as it showed me what i need to install, however it seems as i was installing the right file which called "com_muscol_joomsef_2.5" but i get these msgs

    Unable to detect manifest file

    Error installing COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_SEF_EXT

    they show in the same colors highlighted above, so what am i doing wrong?

    i do upload the Zip file through Joomla extension installer...

    this is not the correct file: com_muscol_joomsef_2.5

    the file you need to install is called com_muscol_2.3.0_2.5.zip and it's available on Your Orders menu.

    Cool, I got everything downloaded and things running fine, but is there anywhere with Tutorials? because I'm experiencing some difficulties and i have an Issue with Tag Cloud

    well in the Top Viewed Tag Cloud i get this msg in my Homepage "Division by zero in on line 36", but i dont get this msg in the Album page?!!

    the other issue is with Album picture on the Featured Albums the Picture is not positioned inside the frame, it's going beyond the Right and Bottom borders.

    other things like how to add Play, Download buttons in the songs?
    and there is the Bookmark bar which includes all the social buttons, how can i remove the whole Bookmark section with the buttons?

    also realised that the songs is not uploading!! even though i tried to only upload one song to try things out, and the file size is 12MB which is not considered large...

    about bookmark: you can disable it on Music Collection global Options (configuration)

    about play buttons: it's the jwplayer plugin you need to install.. (didn't you read the installation instructions?)

    about songs not uploading: the important thing is that the size doesn't exceed the maximum setted by your server settings. what's the value of upload_max_filesize ?

    the limitation over the size of songs you can upload is not set by Music Collection, is global thing on the PHP installation (Music Collection has nothing to do with it)

    Hi,

    well all seems fine now, it seems the Plugins were Disabled by default which is something i didn't notice, and i didn't notice the configuration settings, Sorry my bad, i do apologies.

    However i'll be mailing you with the errors am facing because 2 things still needs to be solved...
