Having Trouble Uploading Component

Hi, i am uploading the file (com_muscol_2.3.1_2.5.zip) and its saying:

There was an error uploading this file to the server.
Unable to find install package

Please help. Thanks

    This can happen if your server upload limit is 2M. (the package weigths more than 2M)

    can you increase the php variable upload_max_filesize on your server? you need to set it at least to 4M...

    sadly i wont be able to do this unless i contact my host, is there a work around?

    yes, you can use the "install from folder" option. this means you have to upload the zip file into some folder (say, /tmp) in your site, using FTP, and then use the option of "install from folder" instead of the upload file option.
