What Module position ? Issue

Hi

I am slowly grasping Joomla. I do have a question about module positions. I am aware of ?tp=1 which shows you all the positions of the template.

Everything makes sense to me except the content that I have in the main area. What is the module that controls the main area?

My concern is that, every time I add an Artist, it properly adds it to the main area. Is there a limit as to how many I can add? Or does it go on infinity? Where do I have any options on this ?

Is it a Module that is doing this?

What Module is it?

    this is no module. this is the component's main area. in Music Collection OPTIONS you can decide wether to show/not show the artists in the homepage (in your case is set to YES).

    if it's set to YES, then all artists will show up.

    The way that it is set now, is when I add an Artist, it adds to the list. So if I add 3,213 Artists, they all will show up in the Main Area?

    yes. ALL artists show in the homepage if you have the option "Show artists on the homepage" enabled.

    and I will respond to that also !

    Perhaps something like a "See More Artists" can be used after 20 Artists. I think it would be useful especially if you intend to have a ton of Artists ( Which in my mind is common).
